Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 23, 2026

1. About Pamber

Pamber is a live audience engagement platform for workplace events, corporate town halls, team meetings, and professional gatherings.

2. Who Can Use Pamber

Pamber is intended for adults in professional and organizational settings. By using Pamber, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of your organization or that you are using the service for legitimate professional purposes.

3. Account and Event Hosting

  • Hosts: Individuals or organizations creating events are responsible for the content of their events, including polls, quizzes, Q&A questions, and any material shared during a session.
  • Participants: Individuals joining an event are not required to create accounts. You choose your own display alias when joining. You are responsible for the appropriateness of your alias and any content you submit (questions, votes, reactions).
  • Anonymous Use: Sandbox and instant events may be created without authentication. These events are temporary and deleted when the session ends.

4. Content and Conduct

You agree not to use Pamber to:

  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against any individual or group
  • Share unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content
  • Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited promotional material
  • Disrupt events through technical abuse or deliberate interference
  • Impersonate another person or organization

Content Ownership: You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content to a Pamber event, you grant Pamber a limited license to process, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the live event.

5. Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at pamber.live/privacy explains how we collect, use, and retain data. By using Pamber, you acknowledge that event data is processed in accordance with that policy.

For enterprise and organizational Hosts: You are responsible for informing your participants about the data processing involved in your events and for obtaining any necessary consents or authorizations from your organization.

6. Service Availability and Limitations

Pamber is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Factors outside our control — including network connectivity, device compatibility, and third-party infrastructure — may affect performance.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user violating these terms or engaging in behavior that harms the platform or other users.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Pamber is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD if you are using a free tier
  • We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of material created by Hosts or participants

8. Termination

You may stop using Pamber at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Event data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pamber operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
